GROUP CLASSES: We offer a variety of people-training group classes for dogs throughout the year. Foundation obedience, agility, and horn hunting are a few of the classes we have. We work with all levels of experience.
Most group classes are 4 week sessions. We meet once a week for about an hour at the facility in Augusta, MT. You will get the tools for your toolbox to train at home. You will get a workbook on the first night of class and you will be emailed a homework visual after each class to help you remember your homework.
Classes are limited in number of dog/person teams allowed. Pre-registration is required. Click here to contact Prairie for registration. After reviewing registration papers, teams may be moved to another class based on trainer’s discretion. Children 13 years old and younger may attend with an adult with the adult as the handler of the dog at all times.
ONE on ONE‘s are great ways to work with the instructor on specific behaviors or concerns without distractions from other dogs or people. We work on modifying behaviors such as barking, chewing, digging, etc. These meetings are also great for individual attention on learning new behaviors. The first meeting is about 1 hour and 15 minutes long, giving time to review paperwork and answer questions. Follow-up appointments are not usually as long because we have established knowledge about each other and your dog. The cost is $100 for each visit.
